Whether it’s overrated or not, the proof is in the pudding. A Las Vegas Bachelorette party is still one of the most requested items on a bride-to-be’s list.
We know it’s been done a million times before, but that’s the beauty of Sin City.
It’s different every time you go, and you can almost guarantee that something outrageous is going to happen, which is the whole point of a bachelorette party, right?
There are tons of options to consider when planning bachelorette party in Vegas, but this post will help you plan an unforgettable bash.
Here are some ideas to get you started:

Where to Stay
Best Vegas Hotels for a Bachelorette Party
When choosing where to stay for your girls trip, usually the most important items to consider are price, location, the pool and what the rooms are like.
Here are my recommendations based on these criteria.
The MGM Grand has one of the best pools on the Las Vegas strip and is the perfect type of pool to hang out with a group.
I also love to stay at the Flamingo Hotel.
In my opinion, it’s the best option that offers a perfectly central location, very reasonably priced (still one of the best value options) and has a kick ass pool.
They even have rooms with bunk beds so you can get up to 8 people in a room.
For the best deal – I recommend booking directly with the hotel. This way you have a better chance of getting a free upgrade when you check in!
You can read my full review of staying at the Flamingo Hotel here.
But you might want a hotel that offers adjoining rooms so that you can all hang out together.
The Mirage or better yet, the Venetian have these options and this can help with splitting costs.
At the southern end of the Strip, stay at the Mandalay Bay for the best pool.
This is also where you’ll find the Foundation Room, a must-visit on a girls trip to Vegas.
Right next door is the Delano which has large rooms for decent value and you also get access to the pool at Mandalay Bay.

Low Key or Budget Options
Another great option to consider is renting a house or vacation rental off the strip.
I’ve done a few group trips to Vegas (some for bachelorette parties and some for birthdays) and have stayed on the strip and rented a house off the strip.
I can tell you that both options have their pros and cons and it all depends on your group.
Renting a house means you can save a ton of money, especially when your group is on the larger side.
This way you can split accommodation, food and meal costs as you can cook a few meals at the house.
The other benefit is that you can book a place that has your own pool so that you can have it all to yourselves, bring your engagement ring floatie and chill by the water in a more relaxed atmosphere.
It makes it cheaper when you can enjoy your own booze by the pool instead of paying upwards of $20 per drink at a hotel.
On my recent girls trip, we found this house on VRBO that was perfect for 10 people.
But you can also find tips and other places to book through other sites like VRBO.

A Photo Tour of the Best Spots on the Strip
Grab your girls and hire a local photographer who will not only take you to the most iconic spots on the Strip, but knows how to get the most epic angles!
As a built in tour, this is the perfect activity to do on your first day in Vegas so that you know the best places to explore on the rest of your trip.
On this tour, your guide will bring you to some hidden gems and secret spots as well, like the secret pizza place, a hidden tequila bar and elaborate garden settings.
Find all the details for this photo tour here.
Play Dirty Jeopardy
This is a fun one, but takes a little pre-planning. Basically, the way to play is no different than regular Jeopardy.
Choose some categories and then choose the ‘answers.’ Your game can be as raunchy or as tame as your Bride is.
To get you started your categories could be: Old flames/Ex-boyfriends, Favorite Positions, Bride’s Hall Pass Choices, Deepest Secrets, Mother in Law Complaints…you get the idea!
Then, based on the categories come up with 3-5 ‘answers.’
Make it fun by handing out prizes for correct guesses and punishments for wrong guesses!
Learn to Be a Stripper
What would be more fun than you and your girls learning how to pole dance at a Stripper 101 class!
No girls trip would be complete without learning some sexy moves and pole dance choreography!
The best part? You leave with a certified Stripper 101 License!
Make Your Own Fun on Fremont Street
Have some fun on Fremont Street! Bring your own spin the wheel game, and customize it for your squad!
Set yourselves up on Fremont (or on the Strip) and invite other Vegas-goers to play your game!
You could hand out little prizes like penis straws or shot glasses, have someone buy you a drink, take a selfie, etc!
Las Vegas is probably the only place where you can pull this off, so have some fun with it!
Party With Some Hunks
You knew this was coming. You can’t have a bachelorette party in Vegas without male strippers!
If you really want to go all out and embarrass your bride, Hunk Mansion will hook you up!
There are a few different packages you can choose from, but most are around $30 per person and includes your transportation, entry and two drink tickets.
Pool Parties, Nightclubs and Lounges
Best Pool Parties to Hit
Pool Parties are pretty much synonymous with a Las Vegas bachelorette party.
Day clubs and pool parties were started about 10 years ago to encourage guests to stick around on Sundays, as this was once one of the ‘quieter’ days in Vegas.
Now, almost every hotel with a decent pool hosts pool parties or opens up as a ‘day club.’
The best ones that I recommend are: Encore, Wet Republic, Drai’s Beachclub (on the rooftop of the Cromwell), Marquee Day Club, Tao Beach Club and Daylight Beach Club.
And while regular pool party season runs from the end of March to September, KAOS dayclub and pool is now open year round at the Palms.
With an inflatable roof over top of the pool during the fall and winter months, you can sip your bevvy by the pool with the girls any time of the year.
Lounges and Happy Hour
Visit the Dorsey for posh, sexy and elegant cocktails.
The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay is a hidden gem, with a sultry, vintage vintage vibe and a breathtaking outdoor viewing area.
Go sky high at the Stratosphere and head up to the 107 Sky Lounge. Yes, it’s named after the floor it’s on!
Oscar’s at the Plaza from 4-7 p.m. on Thursdays is the place to be becaise ladies drink for half price!
From Monday-Friday, Mickey Finns has $3 wine specials from 4-7 pm.
This is also one of my favorite spots to sit, sip and people watch on Fremont Street.
Nightclubs
If you’re staying at an MGM property you can have your names added to the VIP list at every club on any MGM property, free of charge.
After you check in, visit the concierge for all the details.
They will also let you know which types of music are at each club on various nights.
These properties include the Bellagio, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Delano, MGM Grand, and the Mirage.
Hakkasan is one of the most popular choices, located at the MGM Grand.
If you’re country fans, Gilley’s Saloon at Treasure Island will be sure to please.
With great tunes, a mechanical bull and beer pong, it’s perfect for any cowboy loving bride.
For something a little more lavish and gold plated, choose the XS Nightclub at the Wynn.
Pro Tip: before your trip, get pumped on social media! Have yourself and each of your girlfriends post a photo or 2 on Instagram about how you’re excited you are for your girls weekend.
Use hashtags like #LasVegas and #BacheloretteWeekend.
You should also search the hashtag #VegasPromoter and leave a comment or send them messages mentioning when you will be in Vegas.
At least one of you will get noticed by promoters for you to sign up with to get free cover/no line.
Remember, Las Vegas is the number one destination for celebrations and parties, so they are always looking for groups who want to celebrate!
If you can’t decide which nightclubs to hit, this 3-hour tour is perfect to get you started and will take you around to some fun ones and includes a photographer and a drink at each stop.
We’re talking champagne, sake bombs, dessert shots and more!
Best Restaurants
Hexx (at the Paris) is a perfect place for s girls brunch, with bottomless mimosas on the menu and one of the best Instagram-worthy patios, you can’t go wrong here.
Or Tom’s Urban at the New York New York as unlimited mimosas for just over 20 bucks.
Beauty & Essex is a unique spot located in the Cosmopolitan.
You enter through an up-scale pawn shop with neat vintage trinkets that you can actually buy.
And the door to lounge and restaurant is the same color as the wall, which throws off a speakeasy vibe.
Dick’s Last Resort (it’s a restaurant…trust me) is an absolute must do for a bachelorette party or any girls trip for that matter.
This is one restaurant experience you haven’t had anywhere else, I can guarantee you that!
This is where all the servers intentionally treat you poorly (they act like dicks), and they expect you to dish it right back!
Nothing is off limits here, so go in with an open mind! It’s gets pretty inappropriate but it’s all in good fun.
Then, head to the Thunder from Down Under show that plays in the same hotel, the Excalibur.
For some next level dining and fresh sushi, Have sushi at Zuma in the Cosmopolitan.
And stick around to try out Rose.Rabbit.Lie for some unique craft cocktails.
Best Shows
There are tons of shows to see in Vegas, but there are a few in particular that are perfectly suited for a bachelorette party.
If you didn’t make it to the hunk mansion, there are plenty of male revue shows in Vegas to keep the girls giggly and wild!
Absinthe and Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil are both a little raunchy but super fun.
Plus you can even book an aerial and circus skills experience with real pros from the Cirque shows.
How about a Drag Show during brunch? Or a zombie burlesque show for your friend who’s obsessed with the Walking Dead.
For a complete list of shows suited perfect for a bachelorette party, head to Vegas.com where you can find show times and buy tickets online at a discounted rate.
Low Key Las Vegas Bachelorette Party Ideas
If you’ve got a bride who is more interested in hanging by the pool and seeing some sights, you can still plan a low key bachelorette party in Vegas that’s just as memorable.
Grab an Instax camera and capture the sights.
If you’re spending a few days in Vegas with the girls, bring that Polaroid style camera with you everywhere and make sure you take lots of photos.
Then, before the end of your trip, place all the photos into an album and have all the girls sign/write their favorite memory or all the inside jokes you made on the trip.
It’s the perfect parting gift for the Bride to remember the entire girls weekend.
Go antique shopping, thrift store shopping, or treasure hunting! There are tons of unique shops like this around Las Vegas.
So if you’re bored of all the outlet malls or if your bride to be loves vintage flair, pick some stores to visit!
End your treasure hunting at ReBAR where they’ve got quirky decor and antiques and some fun cocktails.
Go on a walking food tour! By combining a tour of downtown with some of the best food in Vegas, you’ll get to visit some places that only locals know about.
Take gambling lessons! Book a casino tour with a local guide who will introduce you to the most famous casinos on the strip and teach you how to play a table game at each one!
Learn how to play poker, blackjack, roulette and craps in a fun and low-key atmosphere.
If you’ve got a Gram’ girl, then how about dressing up and going on an Instagrammable wall photo shoot!
There are so many awesome photo spots in Las Vegas, you could make an entire day out of this.
Between all the cool casino signs, building facades and murals, there are endless backdrops to choose from. Head out and have some fun.
Places like the Neon Museum are great for that, or head to the Seven Magic Mountains art installation.
For live music, the Fremont Street Experience is probably your best bet.
There’s an outdoor stage, and usually at 8pm everyday there’s a free concert. There’s no cover and the vibe is super chill.
Spend an evening at one the awesome Piano Bars on the strip! There’s one at NYNY and one at Harrah’s Cranaval Court.
If you still want to hit some neat Las Vegas lounges but don’t want all the extravagant vibes that go with it, try Rhumbar at the Mirage.
There’s no ‘clubby’ vibe here, but you still get the atmosphere. A good place to enjoy a hookah, too.
The Wine Cellar and Tasting Room at the Rio is another hidden gem perfect for a low key but fun evening.
Get some fresh air and out of the city on a hike and yoga experience in Red Rock Canyon for the perfect low key morning after a late night.
Ideas for Keeping Your Party on a Budget
Now, if you’re wanting to keep things on a budget, Vegas isn’t the most inexpensive place.
There are definitely ways to save money in Vegas, you just have to plan ahead a little.
By renting a house off strip, you’ll save money on accommodations and food by cooking most meals at home.
Avoiding pool parties and make your own pool fun at your house rental is another sure way to save.
For any lounges or bars you want to hit, just make sure you’re visiting during happy hour.
And don’t forget to hit Fremont Street for the free outdoor live music!
What to Bring to a Vegas Bachelorette Party
You’re going to need party supplies, bachelorette party favors, decorations and hangover kits!
Sometimes it’s the little details that make all the difference for an unforgettable party.
Bachelorette.com should be your ultimate go-to for bachelorette party supplies.
From piñatas to complete kits with all the decorations and favors you need, this place has you covered.
I’ve also found lots of great treasures on Amazon.
Like these hilarious sashes for the bride and entire tribe to wear on your night out.
To get the party started, some truth or dare games or party cards are always a fun time.
One of the bestselling girls night card games on Amazon is this ‘Drink If…” game.
It’s also perfect if you have a group of girls who are still getting to know each other.
Grab these funny ‘mug shot’ signs and have each of the girls pick one the matches their personality.
OR, have the bride choose the sign for each of the girls.
Take a before photo of each squad sister before going out, and then after your night on the town, take an ‘after’ shot holding the mug shot cards.
Trust me, we all know someone who fits each of these titles!
And for the final touch, grab some hangover kit bags (one for each gal) and fill them with all the essential next day necessities.
Toss in things like pain relievers, tums, chapstick, gum or breath mints, mini eye drops, Pedialyte packets (electrolytes), energy bar or snack bar, etc.
