Ice Bubbles are back in Alberta!
The most illustrious frozen methane bubbles in Canada are found along the Kootenay Plains of Alberta.
You can find them on Abraham Lake, about 3.5 hours from both Calgary and Edmonton
the bubbles are caused by organic matter on the bottom of the lake that emit methane gas during the decay phase
