I went to the airport and tested 8 different styles of carry-on bags in different airline luggage sizers.
Here’s the problem though – some airlines state different dimensions than what their sizers actually hold and how your bag actually ends up fitting in the overhead bin.
So even if you have your packing down to a science and measured your bag, I tested these bags to help you make sure your bag fits to avoid the dreaded gate-check…or worse.
Having to PAY.
By the way – not only did I test these bags in the sizers, I’ve also personally taken every single one of these bags on a flight.

I love your YT videos! I was thinking that I need to find a carry on like the Mixi (top open instead of clamshell) for an upcoming trip but we'll be travelling over New Years and I know Air Canada will be making everyone test their suitcases in the sizer. Any suggestions?
